Apple Art
Making this super apple craft reinforces the concept of circles! Dip one end of a cardboard tube in red paint and press it repeatedly on a sheet of construction paper. When the paint is dry, cut an apple shape from the paper. Next, cut a slit in the apple and tape a worm cutout so it’s peeking through the slit. |

Grandparents Day Card
These sentimental cards are perfect for showing grandparents (or older friends) just how special they are! To make a card, fold a sheet of construction paper in half. Cut out a copy of the banner and heart patterns. Color the patterns if desired. Glue the banner cutout to the front of the card and decorate the border as desired. Then illustrate the inside of the card. Next, tape the heart cutout to one end of a three-inch yarn length and tape the other end inside the card.

Sticky-Note Rubbings
Attach sticky notes to a tabletop and provide copy paper and crayons with the wrappers removed. A child places a sheet of paper over the sticky notes. (Lightly tape the paper down if needed.) Then she rubs the side of a crayon over the paper. She moves the paper and repeats the process as many times as desired. |
