Waylon has lots of ideas for making life more awesome through science, but changes at school and at home make it hard for him to concentrate. It looks as though Waylon's universe is exploding. Then something happens to bring it all together again and it is, without a doubt, One Awesome Thing.
Activity: Writing Prompt
When Arlo divides the boys into opposing teams, they both try to figure out logos for their groups. Direct each student to design a logo that he or she believes would be best for the Shark-Punchers or the Others. Then, in a paragraph, have each student explain how the logo is aligned with character traits of the members of that team.
